Work With Us
We see your legacy. And we can help envision your future.
The Pythia Collaborative is a network of the highest quality communications consultants curated by Saga Blane. The network is flexible: changing shape to respond adaptively to a client’s individual needs and specific organizational realities. In essence, we design a custom agency for every brief, removing the inessential and bloated aspects of traditional communications agencies, to give you direct access to (and the direct price-tag for) the expert minds who can guide the way.
Why a Collaborative?
We are here to shape a regenerative future together.
Pythia was the Oracle at Delphi who summoned divine inspiration to counsel the powerbrokers of her time. The Pythia was not an individual woman, but rather a role that many priestesses to Apollo could play. She was the voice for feminine collective wisdom, channeled to direct the shaping of the world.
At this crossroads in our planet’s evolution, we are summoning the Pythia again to guide us in shaping a regenerative future. We are here to hold hands with our clients, to support them with multiple heads but singular heart, in bridging our shared hopes for the future with the current reality with courage, conviction, and expansive vision.

At the Crossroads to the Future
We Embrace Multiplicity: of people, of points of view, of deep wells of expertise. We believe any rich ecosystem thrives from diversity, and the more eyes with which we can look at a problem, the more clearly we can see the way forward. While our collaborators each have a core leadership skill, they are all “hyphen people”, able to guide cross-sectionally.
We Balance Polarities: we go broad and deep, combine intellect and intuition, and integrate creativity seamlessly with strategic thinking. We’ve worked at both the highest corporate levels to grassroots entrepreneur experience and can hold the full spectrum in our view. With eyes fixed on the edge of the future, we remember the wisdom of our ancestors.
We Center at the Heart: At Pythia, we have many heads - but one heart. In this way, we can be both decentralized and participatory without compromising on momentum or decisiveness. Our shared passion is the desire to shape a new, regenerative reality that amends and rewrites the exploitative patterns of the past. Instead of providing answers, we believe, as Rilke said, in “living the questions some distant day into the answer.”

A brand is more than a name, a logo, or a tagline—it’s a living entity with a distinct presence, energy, and potential. A Brand Reading is an intuitive and strategic analysis that reveals the essence of your brand, clarifies its strengths, and uncovers the deeper story waiting to be told.
Drawing on over a decade of expertise in brand positioning, creative communications, and coaching, Saga offers a sharp perspective on what your brand communicates, where it wants to go, and what’s needed to activate its full potential.
Although deeply strategic, this is a psychic reading for your brand. Whether you’re building something new, refining an existing identity, or feeling stuck in a transition, a Brand Reading offers insight, alignment, and direction to move forward with clarity.

Our Relevant Work
Why We March. Activist Storytelling for Refinery29: A manifesto video written, produced, and directed by Saga Blane for Refinery29 to capture the momentum for the Women’s March on Washington in 2016. This is still why we march. Refinery29 (R29) is a digital media company focused on women's empowerment, culture, and social issues, known for its bold storytelling and advocacy-driven content. In 2016, the company had over 300 employees and a digital reach of 500+ million people globally, mostly millennial women.
R29 Brand Guidelines & Engagement Strategies: At Refinery29, Saga guided the Executive Leadership Team of 12 people through internal brand workshopping to distill the core elements of the brand. From there, she led the Brand Leadership team to create comprehensive brand guidelines and a company-wide microsite dedicated to brand. While brand education was a clear goal, it was clear without presenting the work in an engaging and story-driven way, the company would fail to mobilize its employees effectively. The result: ‘The R29 Rocketship’ and a space-themed narrative to simply and creatively communicate the brand. She also scripted, voiced-over, and produced the Brand Manifesto video for the microsite and led each team through engagement workshops.
Brand Strategy & Creative Platform for Eden Project: From a barren crater to a thriving feat of human and natural ingenuity, The Eden Project exemplifies the transformation that is possible when committed people with a vision come together. While working together at global communications firm WPP, Saga, and Emma were thrilled to support Sir Tim Smit, the founder, with a new strategy to spread the message of The Eden Project around the world and to inspire future generations to transform the negatives we see today into a hope for tomorrow. We developed a platform that shifted Eden from being one destination in Cornwall to a movement that could travel and bring together activists and engage the ‘Re-Generation’ - a generation of activists working to bring about a regenerative future. Our work led to a new tagline, brand identity, and campaign: ‘Transforming Negatives into Positives’ that came to life through a new website, app, events, and more.
Participatory membership strategy & co-creation for Historic England: Historic England wanted to increase their waning membership and to boost participation when it comes to preserving the historic environment. Emma invited them to reimagine their role and ask; what if we saw members not as consumers we must sell membership to, but as citizens who are already acting on our mission, who we can support and bring together? Emma was the lead Strategist in collaboration with the innovation collective New Citizen Project, who created a nationwide campaign in which people shared stories of the historical places they loved. From this project, the organization has now developed a set of resources to support its staff to adopt active participation, less as a strategy to be delivered by one team and more as an approach to be explored by the whole organization.
The Body Shop Youth Collective: The Body Shop wanted to create a strategy for involving the next generation in their decisions and acting on their mission of creating a fairer, more beautiful world for those who will inherit it. Emma carried out a deep-dive of research into their origins as a business, held interviews with 20+ stakeholders (including the global CEO) and co-creation workshops with B Corp participants to gain insight that would provide a solid foundation for the purpose, strategy and operations of The Youth Collective, which made its public launch at the United Nations COP.
Visuals & Vision for Thirdspace: When Emma was first approached by Thirdspace, a progressive coaching and development organization, their external brand was not a reflection of the transformative work they were doing with groups and organizations. Emma led the strategic development process from the initial discovery workshops and brand positioning through to the final creative output in the form of a new brand identity that came to life in a refreshed website, learning materials, and communications plan. The six board members each felt the new brand was a unifying reflection of who they are, as well as their flagship courses selling out more rapidly than before the rebrand. The work also resulted in the deepening of the Alumni community, which as fostered collaborations (from co-hosting podcasts, to peer learning circles) between members across the world.
Corp Community Activation for Global Impact: To increase public awareness of B Corporations and their alignment with consumer values, B Lab launched the "Vote Every Day" campaign. Callie Rojewski mobilized B Corporations around the globe to impactful messaging and overseeing cross-functional execution, including a NYC pop-up store featuring 25 B Corps. The campaign reached 650,000+ people, strengthening the connection between consumer behavior and value-based decision-making while driving long-term impact for B Corps.
Membership Strategy and Organizational Development for Q Community: Q (supported by The Health Foundation) is a community of thousands of people across the UK and Ireland, collaborating to improve the safety and quality of health and care. Members share knowledge and support each other to tackle challenges. I worked with their Director and Membership team to develop a participation strategy that supported members to connect relationally and collaborate strategically, to make faster progress to change health and care for the better
Co-Creating Brand Movements. Branding, Website & Community Activation: Callie Rojewski, Brand Strategist, worked with Cyber Collective, a digital safety nonprofit, to mobilize a program that reimagines online safety as a collective movement. The Internet Street Smarts movement reimagines online safety as a collective act of care, centering community, lived experience, and accessibility in a space traditionally dominated by fear-based, exclusionary cybersecurity narratives. Inspired by feminist principles, mutual aid and solidarity, the program was designed with and for marginalized communities—women, immigrants, and people of color—replacing rigid technical instruction with relational, intuitive learning. By fostering shared knowledge and collective resilience, it empowers individuals to sharpen their digital instincts and reclaim agency in an increasingly surveilled world.
Content Ecosystem to Launch a Brand: AdaMarie was launched in 2021 as a non-profit dedicated to gender equity in the STEM workforce through a job board and online platform. Saga came on to launch a content ecosystem of storytelling designed to resonate with their target audience of Gen Z women, and encourage them to sign up for an email list in anticipation of the formal job board launch. The brand storytelling was broad: from blog posts, to white papers, to Instagram feeds, to the website copy.

We can help bring an initial intuition into precise direction. This is our preferred starting point, as often what clients believe is the challenge is only the surface-level problem, or a red herring. From our expert outside vantage point, we can take a good look at your brand/business and give you an honest assessment as to what the work is to be done, and how to do it. You can book a Brand Reading® to get a pulse on your brand overall. If your brand is the right match for Pythia Collaborative or some of our collaborators, you’ll get a precise plan of action as an outcome of your Brand Reading®.

The five people presented - Emma, Saga, Brooke, Callie, and Rebecca - offer core functions of any brand re-imagining and some mix of this core will be present in any Pythia Collaborative proposal. The mix is curated according to the needs and budget of the client.
Graphic design is also a core function of brand work. However, we find this piece needs to be matched specifically for each individual client, as each designer has a specific style.
For skillsets that are tailored to a brief - e.g. movement-building expertise, event-production, content creation - we tap our broader networks to find the voices best suited to fill out the whole.

While the Pythia Collaborative began as a formalization of as Saga's inner circle of creative partnerships, it has grown to be a truly mycelial web of networks beyond the original network. These are deeply human relationships: we have worked with each other, trust each other, and have amplified each other in ways visible and invisible. For the newer relationships, we have chosen to align because we share a shared vision of a regenerative future, and notice that we are working with the same ideas in our separate corners… so why not work together?
-
Of course! Our collaborators are all independent consultants with their own businesses in targeted fields. If you have a situation that only needs one expert at the table, you can reach out directly via their linked websites, or book a Consultant Curation session where we can guide you towards the best people for your project.
