Brand Building

 

For clients who have had at least one Brand Reading and would like to partner with me to build out their brand.

Phase 1 - Brand Asset Development & Direction

  • 1 x Brand Essence strategic workshop (90 mins). Here we create a framework for the essence of the brand by identifying the central idea - the “red thread” - on which we hinge the brand building. Output: strategic framework & one clarifying sentence identifying your “why”

  • 1 x Consumer Persona workshop (90 mins). Here we write up a profile of your consumer, examining their mindset, belief systems, and lifestyle. We reveal the key emotional driver that makes them seek out your brand, and adapt the Core Concept to offer them what they most need. Output: consumer persona profile.

  • 1 x Creative Wrapper workshop (90 mins). Here we land the organizing principle for how you package and present your brand, a territory to guide your creative team. E.g. IKEA, a modular furniture company, has the creative wrapper “Sweden”. Output: moodboard.

  • 1 x Tone of Voice workshop (90 mins). Here we land the read/spoken language, dictionary of words, and style of speaking for your brand. The takeaways will be creative direction for a copywriter to execute the actual text across an entire brand ecosystem: website, social, newsletter, presentations, tagline recommendations, etc. Output: verbal identity guidelines. 

  • 1 x Logo/ Visual Identity workshop (90 mins). Here we develop the visual distillation of your brand as represented by the logo and core color palette/aesthetic feel. Working to translate your core strategy into images and visual language, takeaways will provide creative direction for a graphic designer to execute into final form. Output: visual identity guidelines.
